March 2015 - 7 months to go! (argh!!)

Here at Mummy & Little Me we wanted to support a charity that we felt echoed our passion for women's well being, then we came across these 3 amazing charities all supporting womens cancer something unfortunately that far too many of us have had touch our lives.  So our journey with women v cancer started and we signed up (in a moment of madness you might say) to take part in a 350km cycle ride across Tanzania later this year to raise funds for these 3 very special charities.  Mummy & Little Me are going to match every £ we raise, and we are asking all of you for your support no matter how big or small, every little helps!

Funds raised by Women V Cancer will be divided equally between three important charities: Breast Cancer Care, which helps provide expert information and skilled emotional and practical support to as many of the 55000 women that receive this devastating news each year.  Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust which is the only UK charity dedicated to women affected by cerival abnormalities and cervical cancer.  It aims to promote awareness and support of a cancer that nearly 3 women die of every day in the UK.  Ovarian Cancer Action which is dedicated to improving women's chances of survival by funding research into a disease that kills 12 women a day in the UK.
