Review of Tan & Teal Changing bag

I love a good bag, well who doesn't, so when I was sent the Tan & Teal Pimlico I was really excited.
At £220 it really is at the higher end of the change bag market but personally I am not sure that I would consider this as just a changing bag but an investment piece. Arriving in a dust bag and smelling of brand new leather it really did feel like more of a treat for me then for using practically with the kids.
Tan & Teal owner Katy has put together a very chic and stylish bag. Her choice of colours mean she has really thought about the longevity of the bag. It's not obviously a changing bag. There are no buggy straps, no obvious baby style pockets inside or out. Just gorgeous simplistic style.
The interior of the bag is, for me, something I find is really important. I love a lot of pockets. Everything in its place and easy to find. Inside you will find 2 discreet bottle pockets which I am using for sunglasses and water at the moment, 1 padded pocket perfect for my iPad and another open pocket for my purse and diary. The bag also came with 2 study looking see through wet bags - one perfect for nappies and wipes, the second for my toiletries and a change mat. These all fit into the centre of the bag and make it easy to grab and see what you need.
At the moment I have a bump on the way and a little one in nursery. The bag is stylish enough to just look like an addition to my everyday style rather than a change bag. I picked the tan colour as I think that this will look perfect with the jeans and tee combo I am currently sporting. In winter it will go with my skinnies (when I can get back into them) and my classic square toe cowboy boots. It's not too bright and bold but more a classic traditional look.
Tan on the outside and a vibrant teal inside gives you a bit of colour as does the outer tassel on the front. However switch the bag back to front and it's a perfect messenger bag for dad too. A leather comfort pad on the arm strap is moveable depending on how or who is wearing the bag too.
Personally I think this would make a really great gift or an investment piece for the Mama who has already got everything they need for their baby. Opening up the carefully wrapped parcel really did feel like my birthday.
