JEM + BEA redefines the baby changing bag creating an essential luxury for the modern parent. We have created a neatly edited contemporary range of baby changing bags which do not substitute style for functionality. The bags are design led inspired by classic shapes but with a modern twist. Friends since school we found ourselves plunged into the baby world together taking a break from our careers as a lawyer and leather accessories designer. We could see there was a gap in the market for a brand of baby changing bags which were as gorgeous, luxurious and stylish as the parent’s usual handbag which is valuable as it is a part of their style, identity and personality being a daily item and wardrobe staple. The excitement and enthusiasm for the product soon grew - Dominique’s business mind married together with Rebecca’s successful career designing bags for Mulberry, Anya Hindmarch and Burberry, saw the formation of JEM + BEA, named after two of their children, Jemima and Beatrice. There are currently three styles of baby changing bag in the JEM + BEA collection for AW15 with more colours and designs in development for SS16.
