We aim to make buying from our site as easy as possible; below we have tried to answer some of the questions you may have. If you can't find the answer here we are always at the end of an email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone us on 01522 684153 and we will do our best to help.
Ordering from Mummy & Little Me
You can order your goods online or if you prefer you can call us on 01522 684153 Monday to Friday 10.00am to 5.00pm where we will be happy to offer you any advice and process your order for you.
How can I pay for my online purchase?
We accept all major credit cards at Mummy and Little Me. We also accept paypal. If you prefer then you can simply send us a cheque. You can shop confidently on our secure website.
What happens after I place my order?
After ordering online, Mummy and Little Me will send you an email confirmation. The contact details you supply will help us keep you informed about your order. You are also welcome to place an order by phone on 01522 684153 from 10.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. You can log into your account at any time to see the status of your order. When it is dispatched you will receive an email to inform you.
Do you ship abroad?
Yes we do, most items can be shipped abroad unless stated on a specific product page. We use Royal Mail international signed for services for all deliveries abroad.
We offer free delivery to any orders over £30, if you are under that it will cost £2.95 this will take 5-7 working days. We also offer a click and collect service for our Leeds Boutique and Lincoln Office ( which is collection only). If you would like your goods quicker then you can use our priority service which takes 2-4 working days and costs £3.95. For urgent orders we also offer next day delivery which costs £7.00 for weekdays and £11.00 for saturdays.
EUROPEAN DELIVERY CHARGES For European delivery we charge on a scale so for orders up to the value of £99.99 the cost is £12.00, from £100.00 to £299.99 delivery is £20.00 and from £300.00 + the charge will be £40.00
For Worldwide delivery we charge on a scale so for orders up to the value of £99.99 the cost is £16, from £100.00 to £299.99 delivery is £25 and from £300.00 to £1199 the charge will be £200.00 for order over this it will be £500 . You will be liable for any taxes that may become due on receipt of the item.
How long will my delivery take?
We will try to dispatch your order within 3 working days, following receipt of payment. You should receive your parcel within 5 working days. The delivery charge for the UK Mainland and Jersey is FREE on orders above £30, and £2.95 on orders below £30. If you require 1st class postage then that will be a supplement of £3.95. Guaranteed next day delivery for the Uk is £7 and Saturday Next Day is £11.00. Please order before 12 Midday for next day deliveries any orders placed after 12 noon will go out on next day the following working day. You can also choose to collect your order from our Leeds store if you prefer, please allow 5 days for your order to be ready for collection.
How will my parcel be sent?
We use Royal Mail tracked for the majority of our deliveries. For larger items we use Parcelforce. Please note a signature may be required to take delivery.
What if my parcel doesn't arrive?
Because all of our mail is sent tracked should your parcel not arrive within 5 days of receiving the dispatch confirmation then please call us on 01522 684153 and we can track it down and find out where it is for you.
What if I change my mind or the item isn't suitable?
You have up to 30 days from receipt of your item to return it to us for a full refund or exchange providing it still has all of its original tags and packaging. In the case of clothing it must not have been worn or washed. All returns are at your cost, we recommend that your obtain proof of postage as we cannot accept liability for loss or damage in transit until the item is received by us. Please include your name, order details and the course of action you would like whether it is an exchange or refund. If you would like an exchange then you can call us on 01522 684153 to discuss your alternative requirements so we can ensure it is in stock ready for you. Once we have received your item you will get a confirmation email from us, any refunds will take 5-10 days to appear back in your account depending on your bank. All refunds will be processed by your original form of payment.
Can I return an item I brought on the internet to the Leeds store?
Yes you can as long as it is within the 30 days time frame and still with its tags and original packaging. You can exchange for another item in the store or they can forward the refund details to the office but please note no cash refunds can be issued for any internet orders.
What if an item is out of stock?
Occasionally items may be out of stock that you have ordered, if this is the case we will contact you to let you know and give you the expected date of it being back in stock so you can decide whether to keep it on backorder, take an alternative or cancel your order.
It says an item is on Preorder what does this mean?
If an item is on preorder it means we have a guaranteed date of it coming back into stock, with very popular items this gives you the opportunity to reserve an item from the next delivery. Often items may sell out just from preorders. By preordering you are guaranteeing that item from the next delivery. Full payment is taken at the time of preordering but your 30 days for returning an item will not start until you actually receive it. You may cancel a preorder at any time before delivery.
Price Matches - how does this work?
We will always try and do price matches for our customers, however no other discount or offers may be applied with our price matches. Occasionally where there are exceptional cirecumstances, like for instance a company is going out of business and selling off cheap stock where we cannot price match. Price matches must be items that are availalbe and in stock in the exact same spec as the one our customers have asked for..
Free Gifts - what happens if I send an item back I had a free gift with ?
Occasionally we may offer free gifts with goods - these free gifts will always have a value set for them and generally will also be for sale on our website. If in the event you send an item back you had a free gift with but don't send the gift back, then you will be charged the full RRP for the free gift which will be dedcuted from your refund automatically.
What if my item is faulty? Occasionally items do develop a fault, if this happens then please email us in the first instance details of the fault and we can then advise where we go from there. Most changing bags do have a 6 month guarantee unless stated otherwise thereafter any action will be at the discretion of Mummy & Little Me and the manufacturer.
What are loyalty points and how can I use them?
To thank you for your loyal custom we offer our registered customers the opportunity to earn loyalty points on their purchases. These work out at 2% of your total spend the system will automatically deduct points if any items are refunded. You can spend your loyalty points with us, however if you return an item any consequential loylayt points used will be deducted from your refund. To use your points - make sure you are logged in on your next shopping trip and it will automatically ask you at checkout if you wish to use your loyalty points. These points are non transferrable or refundable.
