Jodie picks some great changing bags good for twins
I know people who have had twins and immediately bought the Pink Lining twins 'Twice as Nice' bag because they thought that was the only bag suitable for them. The Pink Lining twins bag is very nice and get that one if you really like it has it has lots of great reviews but I'm here to say that it's not the only option. Just because a certain bag isn't marketed for twins or for parents with children close in age doesn't mean that is not what they are suited to. I can imagine it being frustrating being pregnant with twins finding out that most baby change bags only come with one bottle holder so I have done the research for you and picked out my favourite change bags that have room for 2 bottles or more. Here are my favourites:
Ju-Ju-Be - First Mate £135 This bag has a lot to offer and is super organised inside. The material of the bag is Teflon coated so all stains and dirt are easily wiped away, the material is also anti-bacterial to keep any germs at bay. I love that this bag is machine washable and that it features removable crumb trays. This bag also has 2 external insulated bottle pockets. There is no excuse not to have a clean organised bag with this one.
Storksak - Sandy £115 A great unisex nylon bag which is nice and light. This features a removable insulated bottle and food bag which can also attach to your pram handle separately to give you more room in the bag. A lot of the newer range Storksak bags come with one of these so I recommend checking them all out. If you're looking for something more feminine then I recommend the Anna bag.
Born In Britain - Charlton £195 This new British brand of changing bag are made from beautiful leather and feature lot's of pockets for organisation. This bag features two insulated bottle pockets and is another investment bag for long-term use.
Kerikit - Joy £260 This is probably my favourite of the lot as I really have a thing for backpacks at the moment. The leather Joy really is a stunning bag and gets lots of compliments on social media. I love the black croc embossed leather on this is bag as it is really classy, because it's a leather bag it would last for many years long after your little ones are grown up which helps to justify the price to me. It definitely is an investment bag that you could use for work or going to the gym etc. It features lockable pockets, 2 internal bottle holders and 2 external bottle holders. It also comes with a separate waterproof and washable food bag.
Melobaby - Melotote £75 This is a great lightweight high quality bag and it's very good for the price. I visited the Manchester Baby and Toddler Show recently and I saw the Melobaby bags up close and what really stood out to me is just how big the insulated drinks pockets are, this bag has two of them and both are big enough to fit two bottles or drinks in each.
Pacapod Lewis £85 I really love the style of the Lewis as similar to the Hastings this can be worn as a backpack or a messenger bag. Like all Pacapod bags it comes with the 2 removable pods one for storing nappies, wipes, cream, medicine and clothes in and the other for storing bottles or food items. There is plenty of room in the feeder pod to fit 4-5 bottles and its fully insulated, there is also a separate zip pocket to store cutlery in too.
Other items to consider: Babymel Stroller Organiser £22.99 I have a stroller organiser of my own and find it very useful, they can fit quite a lot in. This one would hold 2 bottles and everything that you would need for a quick trip out. It's so easy having everything in reach. This one also comes with a removable zip purse. Mine isn't as pretty as this I really love the design of this one.
Pacapod Feeder Pod £19.95 If you have chosen a different bag with only one bottle pocket and you are looking for more room then you could buy this insulated feeder pod. It is very roomy inside and could hold 4-5 bottles. It could be easily stored inside your pram basket or you could hang it off the pram handles. It also features backpack straps.
