How to swaddle

If like us you watched your midwife expertly swaddle your baby then got home and realised your swaddling wasn't quite up to the same standard then this is for you ...
1 Fold the muslin into a triangle and place the little one in the centre of it with their shoulders just below the fold.
2 Then Place the baby's right arm alongside the body slightly bent - Take the same side of the swaddle and pull it secruely across babyy's arm and chest, tuck the fabric under the baby leaving the left arm free at this stage.
3 Then fold the bottom of the swaddle up and over the baby's feet - Tuck the point of the fabric into the top of the swaddle.
4 Then all you need to do is place the baby's left arm alongside the body slightly bent - take the reamining swaddle and wrap it over the baby's arm and chest, tucking the fabric under the baby to secure the swaddle.
If you still want a little help then check out this great You Tube clip from aden+ anais - They have produced the most gorgeous swaddles over the years and are the leaders in the swaddle market - Prince George was seen wearing one at 3 days old! The reason they are so popular is because these swaddles are naturelly softer than most and they do get softer and softer after every wash - we can personally vouch for them as we all have some we got as samples years ago which our kids now use for various things and they are just super super soft.
WE sell lots of different colours and styles of swaddles but the most popular is a great unisex one called Jungle jam - don't forget as well that at time of writing this blog we offer a free swaddle with every baby changing bag as well.
