Good quality bag in a fashionable style. CONS * The across the body strap is not very long (as with all pacapod bags I have seen). Fully extended it is just about long enough to go across the body and fit reasonably comfortably under the arm (sits on the top of my hip, I would prefer it sit a little lower on my bum/bottom of my hips - as it does when using the strap on one shoulder). But the style of this bag makes it more comforatble to wear than the seqouia. As the bag will be on the pushchair/pram most of the time should not be too big a problem. But with a toddler I now tend to wear it across the body while I don't have the pram to keep both hands free for dealing with her. * No small internal zip compartment for keys/other valuables. One large zip parent pocked and one large pocket with a clip / magnet fastening * Clip for keys is attached half way down outer (zip) pocket so pulls up the lining everytime you try to remove them (with the Sequoia it was attached right at the top of the side seem which appears more durable, less likely to rip from the weight of heavy keys). I worry this one may rip from the weight of my house and car keys on it. PROS: *looks great, good quality leather *well organised inside witht he pods *has clips for attaching to pram
My toddler (2.5 years) has already commendered the orange feeder pod (is the perfect size for her to wear on her bag) as it is her favouriate colour (orange) and just the right size. Might be fighting to get that one bag when the new baby starts with weaning (I will be breastfeeding again so don't really need the pod at the moment unless taking out lunch for my toddler).
Would be good to have some additional smaller pockets either internal (to cargo hold) or external to pop snacks in for when not taking the feeder pods. Now they tend to just rattle around in the cargo compartment. Perhaps an elasticated pocket on the back of the cargo hold opening would be good for any additional items in need of a hiding place / in need of easy access to - e.g. a folded muslin cloth
I love this gorgeous and luxurious leather changing bag. The compartments help me find things so fast and no more digging around and emptying my bag to finId my wallet or a teether for baby. This is a beautiful high quality changing bag, I have searched high and low for a changing bag that is classy and on trend and finally found the PacaPod Phoenix!! It is so spacious and you can be well organised with the cleaver Pods and different sections, and the leather is excellent quality. The service from Mummy & little me was also outstanding! I ordered on a Friday afternoon for 1st class delivery (expecting delivery on the Monday as it was after 12pm) and it arrived Saturday morning at 8am!,
I received this bag this morning - incredibly fast delivery. I wouldn't normally spend quite so much on a bag, but I'm really glad I did - this bag is even better than shown in online pictures. The quality and design are superb. Plenty of room for stuff for my toddler and soon to be newborn - the pods are great to keeping everything in its place.
