Why Jodie loves her Jem + Bea Clutch

I have been coveting one of these beauties since they were released last summer, I would sit and imagine how owning one would make my life better and easier. It's true that I do day-dream about bags quite often as I am obsessed but I couldn't get this one out of my head. The good thing about it is that it is multi-functional, I know that a few people will say that £45 for a small leather bag is expensive and in some ways it is, it is a luxury item and I took my time to think about it before buying one as I wanted to make sure that I would get my use out of it. I am so glad that I finally now own one as I have used daily since purchasing - for real. I also love that it has the word 'mama' embossed on the front as becoming a mama is my greatest achievement and the word feels powerful to me. Here is what you could use it for:
- Clutch bag - y'know on those rare outings we get into the outside world without the need for a big nappy bag in tow. I actually used this as a clutch bag when we went out for a family meal on Mothers Day. I went for the classic black as I know that it will go with any outfit but part of me wishes that I had got the bold orange now.
- Make up bag - for at home or if you are travelling this is a great size for all your make-up essentials.
- Purse - some clutches are too big but this is the perfect dimensions to be just a regular purse, you can store all of your money and cards inside the one compartment or you could pop in a card holder for extra organisation.
- Organiser pouch - this is what I use it for mainly, I keep it in my changing bag or handbag at all times and inside I keep all of the small bits that can easily get lost in the depths of my bag, this way all the small items are together and the inside of my bag is kept tidy. It's also a bonus as I always know where everything is and it makes it easier to change bags as I know that nothing has been left behind.
This clutch is definitely worth the price in my eyes as it's made from a high quality leather and I know that it will last me for many years. The fact that I use it everyday makes it worth it for me as I genuinely love the item and I now wouldn't be without it. The only problem is choosing a colour, I chose the black as it's the 'safe' option but I would now also like another colour as I have a lot of black clothing/bags and it would be a great way to add a pop of colour. The other colours available are orange, blush pink, grey or there is a special edition metallic purple which is part of a Selfridges collaboration but it does cost more at £65.
